LNER A4 Locomotive Models...

2512 "SILVER FOX" - 1937 condition with standard length buffers and couplings. Three tone grey livery; plus stainless steel boilerbands that were unique to this loco. Four locomotives were built with this livery to haul the seven (later eight) car Silver Jubilee. Streamlined tender unique to the four Silver engines.

4482 "GOLDEN EAGLE" - again in 1937 condition but this time with LNER standard Apple Green livery that it shares with our P2 models. Following the later adoption of the Garter Blue with the introduction of the Coronation coaches this and other green engines were changed to Garter Blue. Rebuilt 1928 corridor tender

4489 "DOMINION OF CANADA" - in Garter Blue from June 1937 embellished with stainless steel lettering and trim as well as the Chromium plated bell donated from Canada. Rebuilt 1928 corridor tender.

4492 "DOMINION OF NEW ZEALAND" - As 4489 but fitted with 1937 Streamlined corridor tender.

4468 "MALLARD" - The first A4 to receive a double chimney from new (most of the class had to wait until 1957 to be modified). Streamlined non corridor tender. Standard numerals and lettering. See Dynamometer Car page for your speed record diarama!

60014 "SILVER LINK" - The first A4 to be built but our model depicts her in about 1952 with cut back skirts, in Brunswick Green BR livery but still with single chimney. Lion and Wheel emblem.Unique "silver" engine tender retained.

60008 "DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER" - A second choice of locomotive in 1952 condition. Streamlined 1937 corridor tender fitted.

60009 "UNION OF SOUTH AFRICA" - Fitted with double chimney depicts the locomotive in 1957 condition, broadly as she is now in preservation in Brunswick Green with later emblem. Fitted with rebuilt 1928 corridor tender. No air brakes.

60019 "BITTERN" - Basically as preserved in Brunswick Green with replica 1928 corridor tender but without air brakes.

60007 "SIR NIGEL GRESLEY" - Basically as preserved on the North Yorks Moors Railway with double chimney, rebuilt 1928 corridor tender and finished in early BR Blue livery but without air brakes fitted.
